The Mascari family start their day with ponder the events of the night before. They had new information they felt needed to be given to the [[Wendolin Burgess]] because of her command over the Walezi. As Emmy attempted to do this, she was intercepted by one of the Lark family, and was told to make an appointment. Emmy sought out [[Trixie Bloom]] on her way out to pass their information on to Wendolin the next time she see's her. From here, the family decided it was time to bulk up, heading back to Savahaa to prep and head to find the strength fruit so they can prepare the ingredients. They stopped and grabbed the ingredients required while in the hub and made sure to give their sister [[Katiana Mascari]] a call. Kit revealed they had located the strength fruit, but at a cost. 20 Fighters were sent to track the caves below the Castle in the capital. They found a massive iron gate that led to the strength fruit, however they ran into a Lich that killed 19 of the party, leaving one to come back with a note that said "Don't come in here, I'm therious" Smithy informed the group their was a lich that had used the residents and patrons at the hunters guild about 10-15 years ago that the previous owners of the the RDB had fought and defeated (but not entirely) years ago that sounded similar to this Lich. The issue? the lich locked the door, and nobody knew the whereabouts to the key. "Did you check under the kings bed?" shouted one of the family members... and after an hour of radio silence, the speaker on the other end let out a shout with glee as they had found the key, indeed under the kings bed. The family Mascari loaded up, and quickly made their way into the underground caves under Tankan's Castle. They managed to procure the key, and open the large iron gates revealing a large cavern. at the rear of the cavern, the family could see large orange pools of fluid with strong looking vines entangling the stone near the pools. 6 melon sized orange fruit grew throughout the pools and vines, and the family moved in. The family met the Lich, who was contemplating over the orange pools. ![[Pasted image 20260711002407.png|600]] The Lich seemed conflicted, as if his thoughts were not his own. The lich was fixated on the pools; however, and decided a soothing dip in the power rich liquid. At this time the lich was incapacitated, but still retained consciousness enough to stay afloat and shout quips at the newcomers. As the family drew closer to the fruit, they separated to recover the fruit quickly and efficiently. Alas, as the second fruit was cut from the vine, Nigel the Beholder descended from the cavernous ceiling and began blasting lasers from his 9 eyes. The Mascari's scrambled, some fleeing for safety, some cutting more fruit and hauling it away. The battle lasted an entire minute. Rays of death and paralysis ravaged through the team, bringing several of them to a halt. [[Tormin Mascari]] showed every ounce of grit he had to display, and hacked and slashed with his exploding axes as much as he could. Taking many beams straight to the face, he fought on. Carlo and his 2 familiars [[Volt Mascari]] and [[Shadow Mascari]]. Eventually, the party broke the beast down, eye by eye, claiming victory... and monster parts, and eyes, and most importantly, 6 strength fruit. As the Lich regained his senses and his mobility, he exited the pool to find his friend Nigel dead, and the fruit taken... and the doors locked. The family gains 4,500 xp for the evening and begin their trek back to Savahaa to figure out their next moves!
