In the midst of the raging battle with Bael, Sylvan drew from the deck of many things, to find himself immediately blipped away from the battlefield. [[Carlo Mascari]] was able to narrow down which card had done this to Sylvan to the void card, learning that this card takes the users body and soul and dumps them at an unknown location. Carlo then used his whit's and charm to ask [[Timichi]] for a potion that could imbue an item to act as a compass to point towards a person or thing. Using [[Sylvan Dense Mascari]]'s dagger of healing as the conduit, [[Carlo Mascari]] poured the tracking potion over the dagger, turning it into a compass to find Sylvan. The dagger quickly reoriented itself to point south east, towards Miraneen. Timichi also performed a ritual to see if she could narrow down sylvans location, and found that he had been split in some way. One half she found to be far away in Miraneen, and the other she gestured at and touched Carlo's chest, possibly indicating that he was in their hearts?
