An elf born years ago that touched the hearts and mind… forcefully, of everyone he’s met centuries ago.
Lily’s Song
Too and fro too and fro
Lily did come and lily did go
Too and fro too and fro
Bearing a smile to which none said no
Lily was a gorgeous lass you see
Hair like gold and a body that’s tea
But all looks she was not- indeed quite versed
In all things magic enchanted divine and cursed
She grew up quite safe Tucked in with the elves
Reading every book on their numerous shelves
From casting and summons to rituals quite large
Still nothing gave her an electric charge
To set one’s soul alight is what she sought
And figured that wasn’t something to be taught
She needed to live and to learn
And honestly for a little affection she did so yearn
Too and fro too and fro
Lily did come and lily did go
Too and fro too and fro
Bearing a smile to which none said no
She left her home in quite the hurry
Charming every man, they were practically purring
Even the ladies gave her a stare
But no matter how fun the spark wasn’t there
In all of her travels filled with love and research
She came to a conclusion that ended her search
Neither sex or knowledge is wha got her going
Power and control got her juices flowing
No mortal being could hold both of those
Even a king or a man who curls your toes
To find what she seeks she must ascend
But first she had some rules to bend
Too and fro too and fro
Lily did come and lily did go
Too and fro too and fro
Bearing a smile to which none said no
Gods are forbidden in both heaven and hell
To cross that plane where mortals dwell
Unless on one did you so call
Could they travel as they hi hi did before the fall
And so she did on her day of wed
Gave all seven of her dearly bewed
A devil so small came on through
To give her knowledge no mortal yet knew
With this her power it rose quite fast
But as with before, no spark did last
To rule the mortals was an easy feat
To rule over hell… now her heart skipped a beat.
To get to hell with her mortal body was no simple task
Good thing she didn’t need that, twas really a mask
She placed the spike, down on the table
And slammed her home, between neck and navel
Too and fro too and fro
Lily did come and lily did go
Too and fro too and fro
Bearing a smile to which none said no
She awoke in hell, level 3 think
Mammon kept her company and full of drink.
As above so below, her smile tricked all
Stealing souls and power so she could fall
Into the lower circles she did descend
to find a king who couldn’t defend
Trapped in ice his strength contained
He told her of a way both could reign.
Go gather me souls to ascend on high
Ten of hundreds, for both you and I
Only then will the door be unlocked
To a plane only yours, all others be blocked
With that she left, looking for a mortal to trick
But time had passed and mortals grew slick
They pulled her through, and without skipping a beat
Changed her entire soul, which is no simple feat
Now she stands, her story not yet done
Biding her time til her web has spun
For now she waits on top the crown
Her smile never fading to a frown.
